Infants, Toddlers and Preschool
Adjustment to new settings is of utmost importance for the child, parents and the staff. After a first meeting where the child, the parents and the staff get to know each other, the parents may bring the child for shortened periods of time a few days during the first two weeks until the child is familiar with the new situation.
Kindergarten and Primary School
Parents and future students have the opportunity of visiting their new class room prior to the commencing school to experience the learning environment and meet the teachers before their first day of school.
To support newcomers to Basel to make an informed decision on choice of school within a short time period we also offer the option of completing trial days / week in the Kindergarten and Primary school. This allows parents and the students to understand our programme and how we support learning and development at BKA.
