Parent-School Communication

When you drop off your child at school our goal is for you to feel like your children are in the best hands possible.

We want our school to feel like a home outside of home to your children and you. For this to be possible, a strong relationship of trust is required as families rely on us to provide the best education possible in a safe and motivating environment. We believe that to respect this level of trust our relationships with the families in our community must be built on a strong foundation of open and healthy communication between you and us. For that reason, we communicate with families on a regular basis and in a multitude of ways.

Our main tools for sharing news, updates and other information is through the Famly and Seesaw apps.

The Famly app is used within our Infant, Toddler and Preschool classes. Our parent app is centred around a unique personal news feed, making it easy to stay in touch and work together.

The Seesaw app is used from the first year of Kindergarten onwards.  Seesaw is the best classroom platform for meaningful student engagement. Families gain a window into their student’s learning and engage in home-to-school connections.

Our team will use this communication platform to share news of upcoming events and offers, inform you of any changes that might affect your child, update on your child’s progress and inform you if we notice any change in your child’s behaviour.

Our Kindergarten, Primary, and Secondary students receive formal academic reports at the end of Semester 1 and Semester 2.

We pride ourselves on establishing open and transparent communication with the families that we serve, not only to keep them informed on activities that occur at school, but also to receive feedback that will help us as we serve all of the families in our community.
